About

I believe every child can thrive with the right support, encouragement, kindness and understanding to access and enjoy learning.

My Experience

I have taught and supported all ages from nursery to Y11. Working in primary and secondary schools as well as Pupil Referral units, becoming assistant head in these. Responsible for behaviour, mental health, nurture across eight schools within a Trust. SENCO in a secondary, specialising in EBSA.

My Approach

Relationships and listening to what a child/young person is saying is absolutely key to supporting and overcoming barriers. Working together we can find the main issues and ways to overcome them alongside building confidence, resilience and reduce anxiety . I use a positive, calm, friendly approach, connecting through interests.
